Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 May 2026

This policy explains how GovLeads ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use govleads.co.uk and the GovLeads service. We are the data controller for that data. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

1. What we collect

  • Information you give us: your email address, and any details you choose to include, when you sign up for a trial, subscribe, or get in touch.
  • Information collected automatically: standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting and content-delivery provider for security and performance. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving them.

2. How and why we use it

We use your data to provide and operate the GovLeads service, to send you the digests and service messages you have asked for, to respond to your enquiries, to keep the service secure, and to comply with our legal obligations. Our legal bases are your consent (for sign-ups and marketing), our legitimate interests (operating and improving the service), and contract (where you are a paying subscriber).

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, currently Resend (email delivery) and Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms) are in place to protect it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you are a subscriber, or for as long as needed for the purposes above, after which we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

GovLeads does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Essential technical data may be processed by our content-delivery provider for security and to serve the site.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

9. Contact
