Councils

Council profiles: who supplies them, and what is coming next.

Every English council publishes two things that tell you where its money is going: the award notices it files when it buys something, and the papers it puts before a committee before it decides to. We read both. These pages put them side by side, one council at a time.

Data updated: 6 August 2026 (committee papers) | 12 June 2026 (award notices)

More councils are on the way

These five are a pilot, chosen to span the range: a unitary authority, a metropolitan borough, a county, a combined authority and a shire district. We read papers from more than 200 English local and strategic authorities every weeknight, and profiles for the rest follow.

Where this comes from

Award, supplier and expiry figures come from award notices published to Contracts Finder and Find a Tender. Committee papers and meeting dates come from each council's own published papers. Nothing is modelled or estimated.
